We're currently recruiting for a hands-on

Wireperson / Cable Assembly Technician

with proven experience in

PCBA soldering and cable harness assembly

. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment where precision and quality are paramount. You'll be working from schematics and technical drawings to build and inspect cable assemblies and PCB components to exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies from detailed engineering drawings and schematics Perform precision soldering on PCBs and cable components using appropriate tools and techniques Carry out in-process and final quality inspections to ensure compliance with build standards Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for assembly tasks Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in line with health and safety protocols Work collaboratively with production teams to meet daily output targets Identify and report any faults, discrepancies, or process issues to supervisors promptly

Candidate Requirements

Demonstrable experience in

cable assembly

,

PCBA soldering

, and

electronic component handling

Confident working from technical drawings and wiring diagrams Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail Familiarity with warehouse or production environments is highly desirable Ability to work independently and as part of a team under minimal supervision Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement

Desirable Qualifications (Not Essential)

IPC-610 / IPC-620 certification or equivalent in soldering or cable assembly Experience with ESD-safe working practices Previous experience in R&D, aerospace, defence, or high-reliability electronics environments

Pay: 15.00-32.00 per hour
