We are seeking a skilled Contractor to join our team, responsible for a variety of construction and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, enabling them to tackle tasks ranging from basic repairs to complex installations. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.

Duties

Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various construction tasks. Conduct plumbing work as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Fabricate materials and components as needed for specific projects. Execute masonry work, including bricklaying and stonework, with precision. Carry out carpentry duties such as framing, installing doors and windows, and cabinetry work. Undertake painting tasks to finish projects to a professional standard. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on project execution. Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout all phases of construction.

Skills

Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools is essential. Strong understanding of plumbing systems . Experience in roofing techniques and materials. Ability to fabricate components accurately based on project specifications. Knowledge of masonry practices, including bricklaying and stone setting. Skilled in carpentry with an eye for detail in finishing work. Competence in painting techniques for both interior and exterior surfaces. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
