An opportunity has arisen to join the BTR team as a Portfolio Manager and be part of our residential team located in Sale.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for individuals with experience in the residential property management sector. Working with your team, you'll be fundamental in ensuring all Property Management tasks are completed promptly and efficiently. Customer service lies at the core of our operations, requiring a willingness to exceed expectations. We are looking for someone who cares about the people around them and is willing to go the extra mile. We would consider individuals without previous property related experience if they can demonstrate outstanding customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Responsible for sourcing and onboarding contractors in line with company policies and procurement processes.
Monitor contractor performance, compliance and regulatory standards
Support efforts to review and optimise contractor costs, including gathering data for rate reviews and identifying potential savings
Use performance reports to help identify underperformance and support improvement actions through regular meetings.
Work with regional and area delivery teams to support planning for peak periods and ensure contractor capacity aligns with volume forecasts.
Collaborate with internal teams to align supply chain activities
Mediate/negotiate and resolve contractor/policyholder disputes over works
Skill & Experience:

Experience working in logistics, operations, or a similar environment
Experience in contractor, supply chain, or compliance management
Understand contractor mark ups and profits
Experience of business improvement e.g. reviewing activities and cases to understand and share key learnings with the business.
Comfortable working with data and performance metrics.
Strong knowledge of property insurance repairs and surveying
Understanding of contractor/surveyor scopes of work
Detail-oriented and proactive, working with regional teams as part of our Delivery network
Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and scoping tool platforms
H&S/compliance certifications preferred
