:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced contractors Plant Fitter to join our Plant &Transport department based in Baglan, Port Talbot. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant machinery and equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical background and the ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plant machinery.
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
The above list is not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to take on other duties and responsibilities for the effective and efficient performance of this role
Requirements
:
Proven experience as a Plant Machine Fitter or similar role.
Strong mechanical and technical skills.
Ability to diagnose and repair faults quickly and effectively.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical plant maintenance (construction)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
To be willing to travel to multiple sites around Wales in the vehicle provided.

Role: Full Time
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8am until 16.30pm and Friday 8.00am until 15.30am. Plus, overtime as and when required.
