Skylight Psychiatry Ltd is seeking an experienced NHS contracts/commissioning professional to lead our relationships with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and manage organisational contracts across both NHS and private pathways. This is a senior role focused on clear communication, partnership working and high-quality contract management as we continue to expand nationally. What you'll do
Act as the main point of contact for ICB and NHS commissioning teams
Maintain positive, professional relationships across commissioning partners
Prepare clear, well-reasoned responses to commissioning queries and documentation
Support smooth delivery of Right to Choose pathways through transparent communication
Manage all third-party supplier contracts (systems, IT, digital platforms, clinical/non-clinical suppliers)
Maintain contract registers, audits, renewals and compliance documentation
Provide contract insight, reporting and analysis to senior leadership
Contribute to development of new private services and commercial partnerships
Work collaboratively across internal teams to ensure contract compliance and high-quality governance ---
What we're looking for
Essential
Experience in NHS commissioning, contracts or performance (ICB/ICS/CCG/provider) Strong relationship-management and communication skills
Confidence reviewing contracts, policies and commissioning documentation
Excellent written communication, including formal responses
Understanding of the NHS Standard Contract Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently
Comfortable working with data, reporting and contract tracking
Desirable
Mental health or neurodevelopmental experience
Experience in service development or transformation
Knowledge of CQC standards or governance
Strong Excel/reporting skills
