Contracts Manager

Helix Robotics Solutions Ltd (HRS) currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Onshore Team based in Aberdeen, UK, on a full-time basis.



The role is responsible for providing day-to-day legal & contractual advice and support to internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with contracting obligations.

Main duties include:

Manage all activities associated with HRS contracting & subcontracting, in particular to negotiate, manage and report to internal stakeholders on the legal aspects of HRS contracting ensuring alignment with Helix Energy Solutions Group (HESG) Contracting Standards. Assist in other contractual reviews/qualifications/negotiations e.g., Frame Agreements, Charter Parties, LOI's, other collaborations or heads of terms. Provide legal advice & clarification on legal/ contractual language. Horizon scanning of legal regulatory developments and disseminating relevant and appropriate updates. Regularly review, update and amend standard Proposal terms following horizon scanning of legislation and having due regard for lessons learned. Update and maintain suitable and sufficient contract registers (Frame Agreements, NDA's & Subcontracts). Review of NDAs at tender stage, or delegate, ensuring requirements and obligations are circulated through HRS and understood and observed. Contract reviews/qualifications/negotiations at tender stage ensuring compliance with HESG Contracting Standards. Review subcontractor requirements at tender stage. Liaise with HESG for review of Tax, Insurance, PCG and Performance Bond, collateral warranty etc. Seek relevant advice and guidance from HESG as regards deviations from Contracting Standards at tender stage

Experience/Skills required:

Degree qualified with legal, commercial or related business discipline preferred. Minimum three years in a commercial/contractual department preferably within an Energy Services Company. Knowledge and experience of standard form Oil & Gas and Renewable Construction Contracts (LOGIC/NSC 05/FIDIC based).
