We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contracts Manager to oversee and manage contracts within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and negotiation skills, with a proven track record in project management, particularly within the construction sector. This role requires excellent communication and organisational abilities to ensure that all contractual obligations are met efficiently and effectively.
Duties
Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies throughout the contract lifecycle.
Collaborate with project teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Monitor contract performance and manage any changes or disputes that may arise.
Maintain accurate records of contracts and related documentation using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Utilise Microsoft Project for effective project planning and scheduling.
Provide leadership to team members, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.
Implement effective time management strategies to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
Proven experience in contract management or a related field, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Project is essential.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with effective team management experience.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear articulation of complex information.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between sites as necessary.
