We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contract Manager to oversee and manage contractual agreements within our organisation, undertake site surveys and estimate job costings. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and negotiation skills, ensuring that all contracts are executed efficiently and in compliance with legal standards. This role requires exceptional organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Develop, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure favourable terms for the organisation.
Manage the contract lifecycle from initiation through execution, ensuring compliance with all internal policies and external regulations.
Collaborate with various departments, including IT, construction, and project management teams, to align contract requirements with project goals.
Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes that arise during the execution phase.
Provide guidance and support to team members on contract-related matters, fostering effective communication across departments.
Utilise Construction Manager for tracking costs, timelines and deliverables associated with contractual obligations.
Ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to budget constraints through effective time management strategies.
Requirements
Proven experience in contract management or a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear articulation of complex contractual terms.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams or projects effectively.
Strong time management skills to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
A valid driving licence is essential for travel between sites as required.
