Job Description

Stratum Masonry is one of Scotland's leading specialist stonemasonry contractors, delivering high quality restoration and conservation works to historic buildings and period properties across Central Scotland.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an organised and proactive individual who has previous experience on working with stonemasons and running multiple projects. This role is for someone to come in and grow with our business, providing key support between our site teams, office staff and reporting directly to our managing director.

This is a hands on role, suited to someone who thrives on responsibility and clear communication.

Experience in previous similar roles is important.

You will be responsible for supporting and controlling the smooth delivery of multiple contracts, including:

Coordinating live projects from beginning to completion Tracking programmes and ensuring works progress in line with agreed timelines Preparing and controlling site and contract documentation Scheduling labour, materials, and sites efficiently Relaying progress reporting and site updates to our managing director Ensuring health and safety standards are upheld across all projects
You will be trusted to keep projects moving and uphold the high standards Stratum Masonry is known for.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Proven experience in contract or project coordination within construction Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients and site teams A highly organised and detail-focused approach Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital systems A proactive mindset with the ability to perform under pressure A strong sense of ownership and the ability to see tasks through to completion Experience within heritage, stonework, or specialist construction is advantageous but not essential
