End-to-End Contracts Manager
to join our team and help drive our continued growth and reputation for excellence.
Role Overview
As a
Contracts Manager
, you will play a key role in managing projects from tender to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. You'll represent the structural steel sector of our business and work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage tender enquiries in a structured and transferable format.
Attend pre-contract, contract, and design meetings as required.
Oversee day-to-day project operations, including on-site labour, subcontractors, and plant logistics.
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to specification.
Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques.
Maintain and update existing contracts, including monthly financial applications.
Prepare detailed and well-structured client proposals.
Manage cost reports, including bills of quantities, estimates, valuations, and final accounts.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, cost databases, and estimate logs.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Minimum 5 years' experience
in a similar Contracts Management role within the
steelwork or construction industry
.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and extract material pricing.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently on your own initiative.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Projects
.
Understanding of
project control, management, analysis, and implementation
.
