Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contract Manager to oversee and manage the social housing streams of work within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management, and IT proficiency to ensure that all contracts are executed efficiently and in compliance with company policies.

Contracts Manager Social Housing



Recognised Contracts Manager with strong commercial awareness, a focus on profit and cash flow, and experience working on Social Housing projects. Proven track record in managing all key commercial functions, including procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, and subcontractor packages through to final account. Broad experience across multiple types of social housing works such as voids, K&B and Gas Schemes with a commitment to minimising risk and cost while maximising value through detailed analysis of labour, plant, and materials.

Responsibilities



Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners. Ensure all contractual obligations are met and monitor compliance throughout the contract lifecycle. Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for contract development. Maintain accurate records of contracts and related documentation. Provide guidance on contract terms and conditions to stakeholders. Identify potential risks associated with contracts and propose mitigation strategies. Conduct regular reviews of existing contracts to ensure they remain relevant and beneficial. Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the contracting process.

Skills



Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Office applications. Strong leadership capabilities with a drive to build effective teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong IT skills to manage digital documentation and contract management systems. Exceptional time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively. Proven project management skills to oversee multiple contracts simultaneously. Attention to detail in reviewing contractual documents for accuracy.

Pay: 55,000.00-65,000.00 per year
