Contract Supervisor - Building Maintenance



We are seeking to appoint a

Contracts Supervisor

on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is responsible for ensuring the effective performance of Building Maintenance Contractors across key deliverable contracts, frameworks, tenders, and work activities. This includes overseeing all work streams relating to housing stock, schools, and corporate assets. Working in conjunction with the Council's Procurement Team and in accordance with the Council's Standing Orders, you will also oversee the tendering process for relevant contracts.

The Building Maintenance service is a large, dynamic, and diverse operation within the Housing and Social Care Directorate. It comprises multi-disciplinary operational teams responsible for the maintenance, servicing, refurbishment, and major upgrading of a wide range of assets, including council housing, schools, public buildings, and other historic and unique properties.

The successful individual will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team under the leadership of the Building Maintenance Corporate Manager and the Building Maintenance Programme Manager`s to deliver and manage a diverse and wide range of exiting construction, refurbishments, maintenance and servicing contacts.
