Manage the ARC teams operations over a 24/7, 365-day operation
Coordinate emergency response efforts, liaising with law enforcement, emergency services, and reporting information to statutory bodies.
Conduct regular knowledge tests for all staff to ensure ongoing competence in crisis management and security monitoring
Ensure all control room activities adhere to regulatory and company policies and are reported in prompt and efficient manner
Ensure all employees follow the company policies and procedures, carry out control room induction and organise any training required
Mentor and develop control room teams to support the effective implementation of policies and procedures, to ensure all teams are adhering to the NSI and ISO standards, adhere to daily and weekly KPIS and SOP
Ensure optimal staffing levels and efficient shift coverage
Prepare rotas and manage the scheduling to meet operational demands, ensuring minimal shortfalls in staffing. Carry out rota management, holidays and recording onto HR Systems
Ensure all documentation is being managed to adhere to company audits
Ensure all team members are adhering to company Health & Safety policies and procedures
Act as a point of contact as and when required to out of hours team members
Provide weekly reports to the senior management team
Conduct administration duties with a high level of attention to detail adhere to SOP
Communicating with clients and presenting service reviews to ensure the highest level of customer service to external organisations & Heads of Operations
Keep updated on security legislation and advise the business accordingly
Contribute to the wider management team, supporting the growth and development of the business
Experience/Qualifications
Proven leadership experience of working within a Security Control Room / ARC Manager, Security Management
Must have experience of dealing with critical incidents and management of incident debriefs
Must have experience of CCTV Systems, fire panels and alarm systems
SIA CCTV Licence - Essential
Experience of NSI and ISO Standards
Must be competent in Excel and Microsoft packages, with the ability to learn inhouse systems specific to IFacility software
Demonstrate coaching skills, experience of management of a large team and supporting personal growth and development within a team
Experience of identifying and implementing training & development requirements
Experience of working with retailers, service providers and emergency services to build on customer relations
Experience of conducting interviews, performance management reviews, investigations, report writing and manage the correct processes for security information, disciplinary or grievance issues, worked within the Company KPI'
Excellent written or verbal communication skills
Demonstrate excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, able to work within a pressurised environment and sharing knowledge and experience with your team
Ability to forward plan, respond to customers' needs in timely and efficient manner
Demonstrate ability to implement and follow company policies and procedures
Experience of retail, leisure, distribution, manufacturing security would be advantageous
Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of our internal and external customer
