As a Control Systems Engineer you will join our team in Coventry to support our activities within the
Automotive sector
. The programme will support mid-stage development activities within a
model-based V-Cycle
environment. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and validating
control models for embedded applications
using
MATLAB/Simulink
.

Key Responsibilities:
Developing
and
implementing control algorithms
and models for embedded systems
Conducting
MiL
,
SiL
, and
HiL
testing to evaluate system behaviour and ensure functional robustness
Generating embedded code
using Simulink-based toolchains and ensuring quality and traceability
Integrating control models
into larger system architectures and supporting cross-functional delivery
Supporting
validation
,
calibration
, and
system-level integration
Performing
requirements analysis
and ensuring control models align with system-level specifications
Maintaining accurate
documentation
, test reports, and model release notes
Ensuring adherence to
development processes
, quality standards, and safety considerations
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink for control model development
Demonstrated history of implementing control logic for embedded systems
Practical experience with MiL/SiL/HiL testing methodologies
Familiarity with model integration, embedded code generation, and system validation workflows
