As a
Control Tower Operations Manager
, you will lead and develop a centralised operations team responsible for managing the end-to-end flow of work across the entire warehouse. Your team will act as the operational nerve centre monitoring performance, coordinating activity, resolving issues, and ensuring that all warehouse processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with customer expectations.
Your Tasks:
Utilise SAP and other systems to support operational activities.
Allocate and manage daily workloads, ensuring smooth operational flow.
Oversee, coordinate, and implement processes while planning day-to-day business activities.
Act as the primary point of contact for process or technical issues, escalating as required.
Identify areas for improvement and initiate corrective actions with follow-up for success.
Work closely with the Workforce Planner to ensure resource planning is aligned with budgets, forecasts, and client needs.
Lead, manage, and develop your team to consistently meet and exceed SLAs.
Ensure all health, safety, and welfare responsibilities are met in accordance with legislation.
Produce, analyse, and interpret operational reports.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and service-level commitments.
Lead continuous improvement projects across processes, warehouse layout, and systems, empowering teams to deliver operational excellence.
Develop team skills, competencies, and behaviours to support both personal growth and business outcomes.
Deliver effective people management, including performance, engagement, and development.

Solid understanding of warehouse operations and management systems
