About the Role



We're looking for a skilled

Controls & Automation Engineer

to take ownership of factory acceptance testing (FAT), commissioning support, and automation-related technical assistance for our bespoke machinery systems. This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role bridging production, commissioning, and international client support.

Key Responsibilities



Automation & Programming:

Identify and escalate PLC or program-related issues to our automation partners. Support troubleshooting and reprogramming of faulty PLCs when required. Familiarity with international

electrical standards, engineering schematics

and multi-voltage systems.

Technical Support:

Provide remote and on-site support for equipment breakdowns and diagnostics in coordination with site engineers.

Remote Commissioning:

Deliver commissioning assistance for international projects; serve as a key contact for overseas engineers.

Documentation & Quality:

Prepare, review and update FAT documentation, pre installation checklists, control panel datasheets, and O&M manuals.

Bespoke Systems:

Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) for bespoke units to ensure compliance with client specifications and international standards.

Collaboration:

Maintain close communication with our control panel suppliers and internal teams regarding automation upgrades, wiring changes, and bug fixes.

Factory Acceptance Testing:

Oversee testing of all machines; ensure all procedures are followed and results are properly documented.

Skills & Experience



Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Automation, or Control Engineering. Experience with

PLC programming (Mochuan, Mitsubishi.)

and control panel design. Strong understanding of

FAT, commissioning, and industrial automation systems.

Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills. Strong communication skills for both internal and client-facing interactions.

Desirable



Experience in creating or updating

technical documentation

(manuals, checklists, wiring diagrams). Willingness to travel internationally for short-term commissioning support.
