Role Overview



The controls design engineer will work with an industry-leading refrigeration OEM involved in the overall lifecycle of controls & software development for various refrigeration applications.

Key Responsibilities



Design and code control strategies for Refrigeration applications using Carel, RDM, Danfoss and Siemens control platforms

Design user interface for the PLCs, HMIs and remote IoT monitoring systems.

Test the software using simulators and field units in the R&D lab.

Configure and maintain local and remote IoT monitoring systems

Prepare project documentation such as user manuals, parameter sheets and BMS lists

Provide technical support for site engineers and customers when needed.

Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, EN, ISO standards and refrigerant regulations.

Requirements



Qualifications & Skills



Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or related field.

Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI design and embedded systems development.

Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and HVAC principles.

Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus and BACnet.

Experience:



3-5 years in control systems development, preferably in refrigeration or HVAC.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
