Controls Engineer

to join us at Honeywell, where you will be responsible for producing innovative, high quality software products for UK's leading defence developments.

Key responsibilities

Working to recognised industry standards to produce innovative, high quality software products for UK's leading defence developments Working within a multi-disciplined team, utilising a variety of tools and programming languages, engaging in all aspects of the software development cycle Taking responsibility for your own and others work as well as providing technical assistance to support the development of junior members of the team Leading during assurance and review activities ensuring that all required configuration, release and documentation activities have been produced in accordance with the relevant standards Translate requirements into software designs, implement and test solutions, and manage integration, configuration, release, and deployment of the product

Key skills and qualifications

Degree in Software Engineering Instrumentation and/or Control Engineering, or related subject, or an equivalent qualification and experience. Experience with, or knowledge of, traditional PLC programming Experience or knowledge in SCADA systems Large distributed systems experience desirable Knowledge of PLC programming and environments
