We have an exciting opportunity to join the Technical Engineering department in Manufacturing at Worcester Bosch. We\'re looking for a proactive candidate who thrives on solving problems and delivering continuous improvements to maximise equipment availability. Responsibilities include:

  • Development and support for Vision Systems, Controls & Automation equipment.
  • Support and implement engineering solutions for new product and technology introductions.
  • Drive continuous improvement including the use of preventative and reactive problem solving.
  • Provide 2nd level support and mentoring to electrical and mechanical team, including apprentices.
  • Maintain back-ups of control system parameters, programs, and software.
  • Create and maintain effective documentation of technical procedures e.g. TPM activities.


Qualifications
  • Engineering degree preferred, HNC/HND in appropriate discipline.
  • Experience in Controls/Automation/Robotics Engineering.
  • Proficiency in programming e.g. PLCs, C/C++, Python, LabVIEW, HTML/JavaScript.
  • Ability to read and define electrical drawings; experience with pneumatic and hydraulic schematics preferred.
  • Cross-functional teamwork with high level of self-initiative.
  • Structured approach to managing and delivering tasks/projects.
  • Health & Safety focus.
  • Flexibility.
