DBI Control Limited

has been delivering industrial controls and automation systems across various industries for over 30 years. We specialise in:

- Control panel design, manufacture and installation

- Bespoke automation and conveyor systems

- Electrical installation and commissioning

- PLC and HMI Programming

- SCADA

We are looking to grow our in-house team of engineers to help take on lots of new exciting projects in 2025 and beyond.

Key Activities:

- Work in a growing multi-disciplined team to deliver automated control systems in the logistics industry to specific deadlines. From initial design, installation, commissioning and handover to the customer.

- Proven experience in industrial PLC control systems including installation, panel/field I/O checking, PLC/HMI and Machine functionality.

- Control panel testing, configuration and pre-commissioning checks prior to site delivery.

- Assist in On-site commissioning full control systems in readiness for Site Acceptance Testing.

Requirements:

- Excellent understanding of electrical schematics, components and electrical principles.

- Experience with PLC software, HMI and VFD configuration preferable.

- Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment preferable

- Excellent communication skills and initiative, working combined with client/contractor teams.

- Engineering / Computer related or appropriate engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) or comparable industrial experience.

- Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel and work at sites across the UK.

Rates and Benefits:

- Potential earning ~45k + Bonus

- Flexible working hours, 8-12 hours available per day

- Overtime and weekends available

- Opportunity to offer 24/7 on-call site support based on experience/knowledge (Paid on top of salary).
