CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER - BIRMINGHAM Our client is a control and automation systems integrator. They operate from 12 offices in England and employ 250 people. They are part of VINCI Energies; a \xc2\xa312.5 billion organisation and they are looking to recruit a Controls Systems Engineer to join their expanding team in the Birmingham office. Competitive Salary (+ Share Scheme + Profit Share Scheme + Pension + 25 days holiday) The Role The role will see you tasked with Project delivery mostly within Process industries, Materials Handling, Food & Bev and Water. Actively participates in the whole life cycle of delivering projects, from start to finish. Foster great relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues. Produce design and test documentation. Develop PLC, HMI and SCADA software. Perform testing with customers. Carry out on-site commissioning. Compile training manuals and run customer training sessions. The Person Intermediate level of experience with one or more of the following: Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider and Mitsubishi PLC platforms, with an appetite to learn new technologies Intermediate level of experience with one or more of the following: Rockwell Factory Talk, Siemens WinCC, IFix, Wonderware (InTouch and/or System Platform) SCADA and HMI platforms with an appetite to learn new technologies Produce design and test documentation to a professional standard Several years\' experience developing PLC, HMI and SCADA software from scratch Perform testing with customers Carry out on-site commissioning There is an opportunity for World travel to commission for the food and Bev industry if this is of interest. Ability to work unsupervised Highly motivated, organised and flexible Positive, personable and happy team player
