The Opportunity
We are seeking an Experienced Conveyancer to join our client's expanding, friendly conveyancing team in Horsham. This client-facing role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a residential caseload from instruction through to completion
Handle New Build and Shared Ownership transactions (essential)
Draft and review contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documents
Conduct searches, order LPE1 packs, and submit SDLT returns and AP1s
Liaise effectively with clients, solicitors, lenders, brokers, and agents
Deliver consistent updates to clients and stakeholders
Utilise conveyancing software including Perfect Portal, InfoTrack, and LEAP
Supervise and support team members as necessary
Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and internal SLAs
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience:
3+ years in a residential conveyancing role
Proven track record of independently managing files
Knowledge of New Build and Shared Ownership procedures
Key Skills:
Strong legal knowledge in property law and conveyancing
High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Resilience under pressure and the capability to meet deadlines
Tech-savvy with experience using conveyancing software
