Role Overview
The firm is seeking an experienced Licensed Conveyancer or an experience paralegal to manage a diverse caseload of property transactions and ensure strict adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements within the jurisdiction of England and Wales. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the firm's property law practice.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Assisting the Principal Solicitor with a varied caseload of residential and/or commercial conveyancing matters from initial instruction through to post-completion.
Conducting comprehensive due diligence, including title investigations, property searches, and enquiries.
Drafting and reviewing legal documentation, including contracts, transfers, and leases.
Providing clear, concise, and practical legal advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
Liaising effectively and professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other relevant third parties.
Ensuring compliance with all conveyancing protocols, including the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) requirements, and anti-money laundering regulations.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records utilising the firm's case management system.
Reporting Structure
The successful candidate will report directly to the Principal of the firm.
Required Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
Licensed Conveyancer (CLC) or equilavent qualifications.
Experience:
A minimum of one (1) year of post-qualification experience in conveyancing is essential.
Demonstrable experience in managing a full caseload of conveyancing transactions independently.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, for effective client care.
Good organisational skills and a proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in relevant IT systems and conveyancing case management software.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
