We are now seeking an organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team, ideally with some conveyancing experience and an understanding of the property transaction process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office administration and excellent organisational skills. This role involves assisting the conveyancing team in managing the conveyancing process for property transactions, You will work closely with the Conveyancers, clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth property transfers.
Responsibilities
Opening, sorting, and distributing incoming post
Opening and closing of files
Filing and maintaining accurate records
Preparing quotes for clients
Chasing documents and outstanding matters
Handle data entry tasks efficiently to ensure all information is current and accessible.
Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for document preparation and communication.
Handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a professional manner
Assisting with post-completion work as required
Skills
Previous conveyancing experience or strong understanding of the conveyancing process is essential
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
