We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our conveyancing department, assisting with the smooth processing of property transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
Duties
Assist conveyancers in managing property transactions from initiation to completion.
Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts and transfer deeds.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction to gather necessary information.
Maintain accurate records of all correspondence and documentation.
Conduct property searches and obtain relevant information from local authorities.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies throughout the conveyancing process.
Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
Experience
Previous experience in a conveyancing role or within a legal environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office applications is advantageous.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new processes.
