Our well-established client has a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join their busy Residential Conveyancing team, based at their Fareham office.
The Role & Responsibilities:
Carrying out all required administrative duties on conveyancing matters
Opening files electronically and setting up paper files including conflict & ID checks for client.
Prepare correspondence and documents using digital dictation, closing, storage and retrieval of files
Liaising with clients and third parties during the course of the file.
Person Specification:
The successful candidate will be experienced preferably in this area of law.
This role requires a hardworking individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Able to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external contacts
Commitment to providing excellent client care
Excellent IT skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task
Team-focus with a flexible "can do" and collaborative approach to working with others.
