We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our conveyancing department by assisting with various administrative tasks related to property transactions. Responsibilities
Assist conveyancers with the preparation and processing of legal documents related to property transactions.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process to ensure smooth communication.
Maintain accurate records and files for all transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Conduct property searches and gather necessary information for conveyancing matters.
Manage incoming correspondence, including emails and phone calls, ensuring timely responses.
Support the team with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
Assist in the preparation of completion statements and other financial documentation.
Requirements
Previous experience in a legal or conveyancing environment is desirable but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
