The role is to assist the Conveyancing team within the firm, to provide a comprehensive and compliant conveyancing service within a recoveries environment with a client and customer service focus.
Main responsibilities
To undertake tasks for the team to assist in a reduction in time for which a property is in possession and under offer.
To liaise with third parties to expedite delivery of all paperwork necessary to facilitate a repossession sale.
Be responsible and accountable for meeting client Service Level Agreement requirements in relation to the tasks given.
Comply with all regulatory requirements such as money laundering and data protection at all times.
Control and manage own scheduled tasks within the team using all IS resources and processes appropriately.
Issuing of standard conveyancing documentation.
Manage a workload effectively and ensure that tasks are completed in an orderly manner with minimum administrative and accounting errors.
Skills and qualifications
Desirable
Familiar with conveyancing processes
Previous legal experience in conveyancing or in a conveyancing environment.
Prior experience of using Visual Files will be an advantage
The role holder will need the following skills and experience
Minimum - English and Maths GCSEs,
A high attention to detail and accuracy - Taking care and attention into all correspondence and documentation
Self-confidence and ability to demonstrate initiative
Ability to grasp things quickly and easily, and self-motivated
Enthusiastic with a positive, can do attitude, Friendly and helpful approach
