We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support our conveyancing department by assisting with the administrative tasks involved in property transactions. Duties
Assist solicitors and conveyancers with the preparation of legal documents related to property transactions.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other parties to gather necessary information and documentation.
Maintain accurate records and files for each transaction, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Conduct property searches and obtain relevant reports.
Prepare completion statements and assist with the financial aspects of transactions.
Manage correspondence, including emails and phone calls, in a professional manner.
Provide general administrative support within the conveyancing team as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal environment is desirable but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and processes.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
Knowledge of property law and conveyancing processes is advantageous.
