Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support our conveyancing department by assisting with the smooth processing of property transactions. This role is essential in ensuring that all documentation is accurate and that clients receive exceptional service throughout their conveyancing journey.

Duties



Preparing client care packs and other legal documentation Assist conveyancers in managing a caseload of property transactions from instruction to completion. Handling emails and incoming calls Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and other relevant paperwork. Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other parties involved in the transaction to gather necessary information. Conduct property searches and obtain relevant information from local authorities. Maintain accurate records and files for each transaction, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Filing, scanning, and general office administration Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence. Respond to client queries promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer service.

Experience



At least 6 months' experience

in a legal or conveyancing support role. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and communication. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and colleagues effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work as part of a team. Comfortable using case management systems (or willing to learn quickly). Ability to work independently and stay focused throughout the day.

Important to Know:



This is a

part-time office-based role

. You must be available from

9:30 AM to 5:30 PM

on Mondays and Fridays. This role has a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. This role is best suited for someone who is already familiar with conveyancing processes or keen to commit and grow within the firm.
