As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's residential conveyancing team, working closely with experienced property professionals. Salary 28,000 - 30,000, Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting fee earners and the wider residential conveyancing team with day-to-day conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, freehold, and leasehold transactions, together with remortgages, transfer of equity, new builds etc Managing administrative tasks such as preparing legal documents, processing searches, and liaising with clients, agents, and solicitors to ensure files progress smoothly. Supporting with shared ownership, new build, remortgage and equity cases as required by the business. Maintaining up-to-date records and accurate documentation in line with legal and company procedures. Communicating with clients professionally and efficiently, delivering high standards of client care at all times. Working collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and strong organisational abilities.

Experience and Skills for a Conveyancing Assistant Role

Previous experience in a conveyancing assistant or paralegal role (minimum 1 year preferred). Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process and legal administration. Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills with a client-focused approach. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality. Proficient IT skills, including competence with case management systems and Microsoft Office.
