A well-regarded, high-street law firm in Northamptonshire is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to support their busy Residential Property department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in conveyancing looking to build their career within a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the team with all aspects of the conveyancing process
Preparing and drafting legal documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements
Submitting Land Registry applications and SDLT forms
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors to progress matters efficiently
Assisting with file opening, ID checks and due diligence processes
Handling telephone and email enquiries, providing updates and managing expectations
Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory procedures
What we need from you:
Experience working in a residential conveyancing support role
A strong understanding of the conveyancing process
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise effectively
A team-oriented approach with a strong focus on client care
