Residential Conveyancing Lawyer

to join our friendly, supportive and successful Conveyancing Department.

The ideal candidate will ideally have at least 1 year's post qualified experience and have a proven track record in handling a full range of residential conveyancing transactions and will be confident managing a busy caseload from instruction through to completion, while providing excellent client care and supporting the continued growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities:



Managing a varied caseload including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, shared ownership, leasehold matters, lease extensions, plot sales, sales/purchases of part, and right to buy.

Advising clients in person, by phone, and in writing, ensuring all legal implications are explained clearly.

Checking and dealing with title documentation, contracts, and other legal matters arising.

Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including CQS standards, money laundering regulations, and the Solicitors Code of Conduct.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments to deliver a seamless client experience.

Supporting the department's marketing and business development activities, including maintaining relationships with referrers.

Providing guidance and supervision to Assistants, ensuring training needs are met.

What We're Looking For:



Qualification as a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx) or Licensed Conveyancer with significant residential conveyancing experience.

Strong technical knowledge and up-to-date understanding of conveyancing law and practice.

Excellent organisational and communication skills with a proactive, client-focused approach.

Ability to manage workload independently while meeting deadlines and billing targets.
