Job Overview


We are seeking a proactive Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our conveyancing department by assisting with various administrative tasks and ensuring a smooth process for clients during property transactions. This position is ideal for individuals with strong organisational skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Duties



Assist in managing a varied caseload of property transactions from inception to completion. Prepare and organise legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Conduct research and analysis related to property titles, land registration, and other legal matters. Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other third parties to provide updates and gather necessary information. Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible. Handle incoming correspondence, including emails and phone calls, providing exceptional customer service at all times. Support the team with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, incoming post and maintaining sufficient supplies and resources for the office.

Requirements



Proven administrative experience, preferably within a legal or conveyancing environment. Strong analysis skills to assess documentation and identify potential issues. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Demonstrated customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with clients. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with conveyancing processes and a case management system is advantageous but not essential.
