We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Conveyancing paralegal to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property law and conveyancing processes, ensuring smooth transactions for our clients. This role is pivotal in guiding clients through the complexities of property transfers, providing expert advice, and maintaining high standards of service throughout the conveyancing process.
Duties
Manage the conveyancing process from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather necessary information.
Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage agreements.
Conduct property searches and obtain relevant information from local authorities.
Liaise with financial institutions to facilitate mortgage arrangements and ensure timely funding.
Address any issues or queries that arise during the transaction process, providing solutions to ensure a smooth completion.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and client communications in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Proven experience in residential conveyancing is essential; experience in commercial conveyancing is advantageous.
Strong understanding of property law and the conveyancing process.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using conveyancing software and Microsoft Office applications.
