Trainee Paralegal

with a view to developing a career in Conveyancing.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain practical, hands-on experience in residential and commercial conveyancing within a supportive and fast-paced legal environment. You will work alongside experienced solicitors and fee earners, assisting on a wide range of property transactions while receiving full training and career development support.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist fee earners with the progression of conveyancing transactions from instruction to post-completion Prepare standard documents and correspondence including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements Conduct basic legal research and assist with Land Registry and HMRC submissions Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors in a professional and timely manner Manage file opening, compliance checks (ID/AML), and ongoing file maintenance Update case management systems and ensure accurate record-keeping Prepare completion packs and deal with SDLT submissions Monitor key dates, manage deadlines, and support with administrative duties

Person Specification:

Essential:

Strong interest in property law and conveyancing Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills Effective communication and client care skills Ability to manage tasks under supervision and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems A proactive and professional approach to work
