We are seeking a Solicitor to join our team at Cleveland Housing Trust Ltd. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our legal affairs are managed effectively, supporting our mission to provide housing for those in need. This position is based in the Cleveland area.

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and support on property law matters. Negotiate contracts and agreements related to property rentals and management. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing housing trusts. Assist in the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Represent the organization in legal proceedings as necessary. Collaborate with other team members to address legal issues affecting operations.

Requirements

Qualified solicitor with relevant experience in property law. Strong negotiation skills essential for contract discussions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Understanding of charitable organizations and housing regulations is advantageous.
