Thistle Hill Hall, located in Mansfield Woodhouse, is currently seeking an experienced cook to join them on a permanent basis working 30 hours per week over 5 days.
Thistle Hill Hall is a Specialist Mental Health service for 18-65 year olds, with a strong focus upon Recovery and assisting our people to return to / achieve independent Living.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a cook in a Care Home environment, your main responsibilities will include: food preparation, to cook and serve both hot and cold food and to meet the dietary requirements of our people.
Duties include:
Preparing Breakfast, Lunches & Tea
Keeping the kitchen & work areas clean and tidy
Managing stock rotation
Ensuring required paperwork is completed promptly and appropriately
Supporting with food orders
Interacting with our people to ensure they are eating nutritious and appetising food
It is advantageous to have training & certificates in Basic Food Hygiene.
Shifts times will be:
8:00 to 14:00
12:30 to 18:30

Desired:
Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
Experience of food preparation in care services.
