We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen operations and a keen interest in food safety and meal preparation. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and efficient workflow.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Experience
Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role is preferred, particularly within a restaurant environment.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for meal preparation.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
