Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our kitchen team as a Cook. The cook will play a vital role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety are maintained. If you have experience in the kitchen and enjoy working as part of a team, we would love to hear from you.
Duties
Assist in food preparation and cooking of various dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety guidelines are strictly followed during meal preparation and serving. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and high-quality dishes. Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing offerings. Support the team in various kitchen tasks as needed, including serving meals during busy periods.
Requirements
An understanding of food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21-18.28 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
Work Location: In person
