Duties
Prepare ingredients and cook food items according to specified recipes and standards
Assist in meal preparation for various service periods, including , lunch, and supper(tea) Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Ensure all food is stored correctly and rotated appropriately to minimise waste
Support team members during busy periods, providing assistance with food preparation and plating
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and ordering supplies as needed
Skills
Experience in food preparation and cooking
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
Ability to work efficiently
Presentation skills with attention to detail in meal presentation and cleanliness
Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
