As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that delight our Residents while adhering to food safety regulations and culinary best practices.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Assist in the planning and preparation of meals, ensuring timely service during peak hours.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
Ensure adherence to food safety standards, including proper handling, cooking, and storage of ingredients.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient meal service.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and Residents.
