Job Description

The Explorer Cafe is looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic cook to join our friendly team working in our busy cafe within the Tiso Outdoor Experience store.

Duties & Responsibilities

Support the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen. Assisting with the ordering of & close management of stock Ensuring all Health & Hygiene procedures are implemented & continually adhered to. Assist in the food preparation pre and during service Ability to learn & understand new cooking techniques. Ensures food leaves the pass timely Have the ability to work & train on every section of the cook line.

30-35 hours per week

The ideal candidate will be a team player able to create a positive environment in the kitchen.

This is a

permanent daytime role

with no evenings or split shifts required. Hours are worked on a 5 days from 7 rota including weekends.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year's experience in a kitchen Ideally hold a Level 1 Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.25-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
