Lisadian House Private Nursing Home, Hillsborough BT26 6DYJOB DESCRIPTION
1. Prepare, cook and serve meals and beverages chosen by the service users taking into consideration any cultural or dietary needs of the service user.
2. Ensure all Health and Safety and Environmental Health Standards are achieved and maintained.
4. Store all food safely, rotating stock and keeping a check of 'use by' dates.
5. Observe refrigeration storage and temperature checks, recording them daily.
6. Check and record the temperature of food during cooking, at completion and before serving from the hot trolley.
8. Direct and supervise all Kitchen Staff
EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATION
ESSENTIAL
Capable of carrying out duties without impediment. At least 6 months experience working in a similar role Food Hygiene certificate
DESIRABLE
First Aid NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
CONTRA- INDICATIONS
No skin allergies, back problems
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: 12.30 per hour
