We are seeking a cook to join our team in overseeing the culinary operations at Moorland Infant School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and experience in the hospitality industry.
Monday to Friday working - no more weekends!
25 hours working with no late nights
38 weeks per year based around term time (more time to spend with friends and family)
13.05 per hour

Job Introduction
As a Cook, you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of a healthy and delicious menu for our students and staff, using our fresh ingredients. You will focus on delivering the highest quality of food and service, along with having the initiative, creativity and attention to detail to make school mealtimes interesting.
Main Responsibilities
Using our carefully selected recipes to bring our nutritious menus to life with excellent taste and presentation
Ensuring the highest standards of Food Hygiene, Allergen and Health and Safety compliance
Working with the team to create a fun, friendly and delicious dining experience for students and staff, in line with company standards
The production of hospitality as per client requests
Providing outstanding support to the team and demonstrating a positive role model
Building positive relationships with clients and customers
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for somebody who shares our passion for serving great-tasting food and providing excellent service, maintaining the highest standards at all times, along with the following:
Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients, preferably within an education setting
You should have Food Hygiene level 2 (further training will be available)
Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety practices within a kitchen
Self-motivation, creativity and the ability to use your initiative
