River House is located in the Shaw's Bridge area of Belfast. It offers residential support for eight people who are on the autism spectrum or have a learning disability. We are in a semi-rural area on the outskirts of the city, surrounded by beautiful countryside.

What you'll be doing





Are you passionate about food and creating memorable mealtime experiences? We're looking for a friendly, dedicated Catering Lead to plan, prepare, cook, and serve delicious meals within our Priory unit. In this role, you'll ensure every dish meets the highest operational and safety standards while bringing warmth and care to every mealtime.

What You'll Do:

Lead the planning and delivery of all food preparation and cooking, keeping dietary and nutritional needs at the heart of what you do Get hands-on with preparing, cooking, and serving food and drinks, while supporting and supervising your catering team. Maintain high standards by following our 'Assured Safe Catering' policies and statutory regulations. Organize stock efficiently, ensuring ingredients are fresh, rotated correctly, and cost-effectivive. Create innovative and varied menus that promote healthy eating and cater to the unique needs of our patients or pupils. Monitor the unit's catering budget, ensuring the best value and quality for every meal, in consultation with your line manager.
