We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation and food safety, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. You will play a crucial role in creating delicious meals that delight our customers while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Maintain food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and kitchen protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels. Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including equipment and utensils. Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and creating exceptional meals that satisfy customers' needs.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 12.00-13.00 per hour
