Handle food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and cooking using various techniques. Ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times. Provide exceptional service during meal times, including catering events as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred. Strong background in fine dining or restaurant settings is advantageous. Proven experience in food service roles with an emphasis on culinary skills. Familiarity with catering services and large-scale meal preparation is beneficial. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential. Experience working in a kitchen environment with hands-on cooking responsibilities is required.
