Duties

Assist in food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes Cook meals according to specified recipes and presentation standards Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen activities Support the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area, including cleaning utensils, surfaces, and equipment Prepare ingredients in advance to ensure smooth service during busy periods Assist with serving food to customers or guests as required Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient meal service

Experience

Prior experience in food preparation or cooking is preferred Experience working in a kitchen environment, including familiarity with food safety procedures, is advantageous Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary practices is desirable Previous experience in a restaurant or catering setting will be considered a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
