Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service periods.
Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to ensure it meets our high standards.
Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting any shortages or issues.
Support the serving staff as needed, providing assistance with plating and presentation of meals.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential; restaurant experience is highly desirable.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
